Precision in series.
System supplier of electromechanical assemblies for drive and automation technology. We co-develop instead of just manufacturing: everything under one roof in Upper Franconia.
One chain.
One responsibility.
Toolmaking, injection moulding, stamping and bending technology, assembly and finishing: all processes, inspections and responsible people in one place in Upper Franconia. Before the first milling operation, our design engineers check your component for manufacturability, so that costly changes in series production never arise. If your design changes, we rework the tool in-house instead of waiting for an external toolmaker.
So your assembly stays in our hands from the first drawing to the finished series.
Vertical integration
Development, prototyping, toolmaking, stamping and bending, injection moulding, assembly and finishing interlock under one roof. We also select and coordinate bought-in parts ourselves, so that responsibility for the complete assembly stays in one place.
1 partner, 7 steps
Precision
Highly automated series production, precise optical measuring technology and quality management to DIN EN ISO 9001. We detect deviations early in the process, before defective parts reach your production.
1.47 ppm defective parts
Efficiency
With simultaneous engineering, we optimise your component from the outset for manufacturability, assembly, automation and tool design. This avoids late change loops, shortens industrialisation and lowers costs in series production.

Response time
When requirements change or a problem arises in the project, we respond quickly. In-house design and in-house toolmaking mean short distances and direct adjustments, without waiting on external service providers.

Metal meets
plastic.
Electrical stresses, thermal cycling, vibration and demanding environmental conditions place high requirements on electromechanical components. The reliable interplay of metal and plastic is particularly decisive.
This interface is exactly where our strength lies. With insert and outsert injection moulding and multi-component technology, we combine metallic functional elements with engineering plastics to create hybrid parts ready for series production. We consider contacting, insulation, sealing, assembly and tool design together from the outset.
“Experience matters. Paired with curiosity, innovative strength and the courage to question the tried and tested, it becomes irreplaceable.”

Flat contacts overmoulded. Sealing function integrated.
Contacting · insulation · sealing
Insert
The metal sits in the mould and the plastic is injected directly around it.
Outsert
Plastic is moulded selectively onto the metal carrier, where it takes on functional tasks.
2K hard-soft
A hard structure and a soft seal are combined directly in one component.

“Canyoureallybringmycomponentorassemblysafelyintoseriesproduction?”
It is one of the questions we hear most often.
With us, series readiness is achieved before the first tool is made: our design engineers check your component for manufacturability and suitability for assembly and tooling, advise on material selection and lay out tolerances so that they remain reliably controllable in series production.
The decisive core processes stay in-house: in-house toolmaking, injection moulding, stamping and bending technology and assembly interlock directly. Tool adjustments can be made internally, without waiting on external service providers. Metal-plastic hybrid parts using insert, outsert or multi-component technology are also produced from one continuous process chain.
Let us check: you define the requirement, we tell you whether and how it can become a reliable series solution.
For an initial assessment, a drawing, STEP file, sketch or a specific task is enough. And if something will not work in series production, we will tell you early on.

Engineering excellence since 1920
Precision is
no accident.
From idea to series.
From the first CAD model to the series-ready component or the ready-to-install assembly: our design engineers check manufacturability before the first tool is made. If geometries need adjusting, changes can be made directly in our in-house toolmaking, without detours or lengthy coordination with external service providers.

Existing idea or technical drawing
You come to us with a finished drawing or an idea that is still open. Both are a starting point we work with. Instead of simply working through a specification, we examine the actual requirement: creepage and clearance distances, flame-retardancy requirements such as UL 94 V-0, the real load profile. We also settle the material question here: from flame-retardant polycarbonate and glass-fibre-reinforced PBT to the moulded-on TPE seal.
- UL 94 V-0 from the start
- Creepage & clearance
- Material choice PC · PBT · TPE

Simultaneous engineering as standard
We think about component, tool and assembly at the same time, thinking your production through to the end before the first tool is milled. Using design for manufacturing, we lay out the component for production and assembly from the outset, which reduces part count, tolerance risks and correction loops. Because development and toolmaking sit under the same roof, the production process is fixed before steel is cut.

- Design for manufacturing
- production & assembly-friendly

Test the function before the tool is made
Before the series tool, we verify function, geometry and the interplay of the components with suitable prototypes. Functional samples and optical measuring technology help to identify necessary adjustments early, before changes to the series tool become expensive.
- Function test on the real part
- In-house fixture construction
- Optical CMM

In-house tool and fixture construction
Tools and fixtures are designed and manufactured in-house. Changes, optimisations and repairs can therefore be made directly and without external waiting times, for short response times and minimal interruptions.

- On-site repair, no downtime
Precision for series production
We manufacture engineering plastic parts on modern injection moulding systems and precise metal components in our stamping and bending production. Insert and outsert technology combine metal and plastic into hybrid parts; with 2K technology we combine different plastics, for example for integrated sealing functions.

From an expensive broached part to an economical stamped and bent part
FJ replaced the machined brass part with its own stamped and bent part made from C45E cold-rolled strip. The new version was considerably more cost-effective and, thanks to the coordinated manufacturing and finishing process, achieved high mechanical strength.

From an electrical connector to a ready-to-install assembly
FJ extended the three-pole terminal block to include complete cable assembly and assembly. The customer thus receives a ready-to-install assembly that can be used quickly and reliably in final assembly.

Family business since 1920.
In 1920, Friedrich Joerg founded a company in Marktrodach to manufacture electrotechnical components. Its first products included porcelain terminals; today we manufacture hybrid components, stamped and bent parts and electromechanical assemblies for drive and automation technology.
Our components are used worldwide in machines, production plants and infrastructure: from robotics, intralogistics and production lines to food and beverage production, sewage treatment plants, leisure attractions and e-mobility applications.
What has never changed: the ambition to bring technical challenges reliably into series production.
For more than 100 years, FRIEDRICH JOERG has continued to evolve. Today, with Tobias Püls, the fourth generation holds entrepreneurial responsibility, guided by three values that have shaped the company for generations: engineering excellence, reliability and innovative strength.
