Service anniversary and farewell
At a small ceremony, Christian Reuther was honoured for 48 years of service with the company and at the same time bid farewell into retirement. Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Püls particularly highlighted his tireless commitment and valuable contribution.
Christian Reuther can look back on 48 years with the company and has experienced many highs, but also a few lows. 48 years ago, Mr Reuther began his apprenticeship as a toolmaker at FRIEDRICH JOERG GmbH under the management of Wilhelm and Gerda JOERG and has remained loyal to the company ever since. He attributed his long-standing loyalty to the good working atmosphere and his good relationship with his colleagues and, not least, with Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Püls, who took over the company in 1980.
Mr Püls particularly emphasised that Mr Reuther is one of the few employees who, in addition to his toolmaking work, was able to take on tasks across departments, such as injection moulding on injection moulding machines, building and operating automated assembly machines, operating stamping and bending machines and carrying out maintenance on various items of production equipment. Today, this is hardly possible any more owing to technical progress and the associated specialisation of the individual production technologies.
He also thanked Heiko Wich, who was celebrating his 15th anniversary as a tool design engineer with the company.
